Templates

Templates serve as blueprints for all your products, whether you use our pre-defined industry templates (Textiles, Construction, Furniture, Toys, Electronics, etc.) with mandatory data fields or create your own from scratch.

Steps​

  1. Open Templates from the left navigation menu.
  2. Click Create New, or click a Compliant category card (for example, Textiles Compliant) at the top of the page.
  3. Select Category for your template, and then click Continue.
  4. Choose whether you want to Include Alignment Check?.
  5. Select Builder: percentages or a component-based approach.
  6. Review the existing sections.
  7. To add a new section, click Create New Section.
  8. Click the Add Field button.
  9. Select a Field Type and enter the required data.
  10. Repeat this process to add more fields, or create subsections within the same section.
  11. Preview your template using the Template Preview panel on the right.
  12. Publish the template to use it immediately, or Save as Draft to edit later.

Manage templates​

In the Templates list, you can search by template name and filter by Date Added, Category, and Status (Draft or Live). Use the row actions to Preview Template, Clone Template, or Delete Template.

Translate a template​

You can create translated versions of a template, so end users can read the DPP in other languages.

  1. Open the template.
  2. Select Actions › Translate Model.
  3. In the Translate Template? dialog, select a language, and then click Start Translation.
  4. Enter the translated text, and then click Save.
  5. Click Publish to make the translation available to end users.

Your original version does not change. You can unpublish a translation at any time.
