Add Model Events

Record milestones at the model level. Model-level events appear on all batches under that model in the DPP journey.

When to use model events​

Use model events for changes that apply to every batch of a product, such as:

  • Product launched.
  • Certification obtained or renewed.
  • Significant design update.
  • Major sustainability or circularity milestone.

Steps​

  1. Open the Model Overview for your product.
  2. In the Product History panel, select Add Events (or Edit Events if the model already has events). The Events page opens.
  3. Select Add Event.
  4. To add a custom event, turn on the Custom Event switch. Keep it off for a standard (EPCIS) event.
  5. Choose an Event Type from the list.
  6. Set the Event Added date and the Location. Some EPCIS event types also require a Source and a Destination.
  7. Optionally, add About text and upload a file for extra context.
  8. Select Create Event.
